Health & safety reminders

Stay healthy

We are happy to be back to in-person schooling! While online schooling is an efficient way for students to learn, it’s no secret we much prefer to be in-person -- as long as we continue to do our best to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our schools.

We have procedures in place to limit contact from student to student whenever possible, but that is only within our campus; we cannot control what anyone does outside of the school environment. In order to mitigate the spread of the virus and keep school open, we ask that everyone remain vigilant to the real possibility of being exposed to COVID-19 as we go about our daily lives. With this in mind, please remember we all need to be wearing our masks, washing our hands, and maintaining social distancing protocols -- while these are things we can monitor at school, these are not things we can keep track of when you are home. Please keep gatherings to a minimum and constantly exercise all safety precautions.

As a reminder, if you have the following symptoms, please do not send your child to school:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

  • Muscle aches

  • Sore throat

  • Vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain

  • Loss of taste or smell

If you have any of these symptoms, please contact your physician and the school nurse. If your student has been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (6 feet or less for 15 minutes or longer, with or without a mask), your student must quarantine for 14 days.

Please call the district nurse, Christina Anspach, at 513-420-4922 for any questions.
