Providing Meals And Support

Posted on: March 19, 2020

Lunches will be prepared on Monday and Wednesday mornings and delivered between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm. We are grateful to our Madison staff who are volunteering their time to prepare and deliver the food using our Petermann buses or personal vehicles. If a family is in need, they can be added to our growing list by calling my office at 513-420-4777 or emailing me at lisa.tuttle-huff@madisonmohawks.org.

I would also like to compliment our teachers for the silent work they are doing from home to keep our students engaged during these unprecedented times. Teachers are logging in to Google Classroom to chat with their students, not just to assign work. Other teachers are using Zoom to video conference with students. Some are videotaping themselves reading a book and sending it through DOJO for those who do not have Chromebooks.

As a grandparent, I see how my own grandchildren’s teachers are emailing and returning messages so quickly and letting us all know that they care. We recognize that just a “hello” means so much to our students, and we intend to continue to engage your children. Our teachers will continue to strive to find new and creative ways to bring educational experiences to our students. If you have questions or comments regarding your child's virtual school work, you can email me or your child's teacher at any time.

Thank you for your patience & support,

Dr. Lisa Tuttle-Huff
Superintendent
