WHEN IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR MADISON ELEMENTARY?

MES Grades PREK, 1st-5th First Day is:

MONDAY, AUGUST 22ND

KINDERGARTEN ONLY HAS A STAGGERED START

KG STUDENTS A-L ONLY: MONDAY, AUGUST 22ND

KG STUDENTS M-Z ONLY: TUESDAY, AUGUST 23RD

 

What is "Smart Start"?

Smart Start allows your child to meet their teacher, bring in their supplies, and take a few assessments individually. Smart Start also allows parents to fill out final forms, pay school fees, add money to lunch accounts, and make sure all transportation is ready for the first day of school. The goal of Smart Start is to allow everyone to begin the year off on the right foot.

When is "Smart Start"? 

Smart Start days will begin on August 15th and continue until August 18th. Your child will be assigned a day and time so please watch for these letters in the mail in early July.
