2022 OHIO GAS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline March 31, 2022
$1,000 annual scholarship may be renewed up to three additional years
* Must have a career goal in the natural gas or related field
* Must be an Ohio resident attending, or planning to attend an accredited Ohio college, university, technical, or trade school
* Must have and maintain a GPA 3.0

This is for a $1000 1 year scholarship for seniors pursuing a teaching career. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program, and their Foundation, are offering a $1,000 scholarship.
-Must be a U.S. Citizen
-Must have a career goal in the natural gas and oil industry

-Must have and maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA

Central Southern Ohio Health Information Management System Society (CSOHIMSS)

CSOHIMSS is an organization that promotes Health Information Technology. They would like to support students who want to work in the Health IT industry and as such we are offering a scholarship to further studies in this area.
This year we are offering a $500.00 scholarship for a deserving High School student in the Central and Southern Ohio region.

Robert A. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: January 11, 2022
This scholarship recognizes five, college-bound high school seniors who portray the spirit of volunteerism. These five students will receive a one-time award of $2,000 each.
Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
- Be a primary member of GECU.*
- Be a college-bound high school senior with a strong academic record.
- Be involved in volunteer activities.
Interested applicants must submit:
- A completed application along with an essay or video submission on volunteerism.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- An official copy of his or her high school transcripts.
SWOEA- Southwestern Ohio Education Association Scholarship
Deadline: Wednesday, January 19, 2022
The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in Education in the fall of 2021 and will be based on academic qualifications and/or financial need. Applications are available in the Guidance office!
The Ohio Township Association Scholarship
Deadline: January 28, 2022
The Ohio Township Association Scholarship Program began in 2005. Many years prior to this, former board member Paul Smith and his wife, Ethel, gave the initial donation to the OTA Scholarship Fund, providing the groundwork for future scholarships. The scholarships are also funded by donations from County Township Associations, personal gifts, and proceeds from the OTA's annual golf outing.
Today, four $1,500 scholarships are awarded annually. Among other requirements, applicants must be a high school senior planning to attend a two or four-year Ohio college or university.

Alpha Delta Kappa State Scholarship
Deadline: February 15, 2022
This is a $1,000 scholarship for any senior planning on majoring in Education.

The AAA Safety Patrol $1,000 Scholarship
Deadline: Postmarked by Friday, Feb. 25, 2022
AAA Ohio Auto Club helps former AAA School Safety Patrol® members further their education after graduation through the AAA School Safety Patrol® $1,000 Scholarship. Each year, $1,000 and $250 scholarships are presented to select high school seniors who once served as a safety patrol team member. Students in Ohio Auto Club territory may apply.
Students must complete the application, including their academic record, safety patrol, experience, in-school and out-of-school activities and references, and a minimum 500-word essay.
The application must be signed by the guidance counselor or other school official and the applicant. Finalists will be chosen for a phone interview. Recipients are selected based on their academic performance, school/community service, the essay, and the interview. Finalists who are interviewed but do not receive the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded a $250 scholarship.
