CSOHIMSS Health IT Scholarship

Central Southern Ohio Health Information Management System Society (CSOHIMSS) is an organization that promotes Health Information Technology. We would like to support students who want to work in the Health IT industry and as such we are offering a scholarship to further studies in this area.
This year, CSOHIMSS is offering two $500.00 scholarships for a deserving high school student in the Central and Southern Ohio region.

Susan C. Richardson Memorial Scholarship

Susan C. Richardson attended Madison Schools while living in Middletown Ohio. She epitomized the phrase we have come to love “Once a Mohawk, Always a Mohawk.” Her children are all alumni and now all her grandchildren living in Ohio attend or are alumni of Madison Schools. She and her family were always and continue to be active in the Madison Community. To honor her example of giving, her family would like to give a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a graduating Madison High Senior Student.
Qualifications:
A. Attended Madison High School continuously from grades 9-12
B. Attained a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
C. Must attend school of higher education within 6 months of graduation.
D.Must complete required scholarship application.
E. Must include an essay describing your future plans and how your Madison experience helped you on your journey.

There will be 5 $1000 scholarships given away. The program is limited to high school seniors who once served as a member of the AAA School Safety Patrol and is designed to help former AAA school Safety Patrol members further their education after graduation.

Ohio JCI Senate C&E Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors in the United States, where that state has an
active JCI Senate program (see [under scholarship tab] for a listing of
eligible states). You must be a U.S.
citizen to apply for this scholarship.
This package contains information and directions for applying to the
United States JCI Senate Foundation
Scholarship Program. Each year (April) $1,000 grants will be awarded to
graduating high school seniors in
the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited
post-secondary colleges,
universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually will
be at the discretion of the
United States JCI Senate Foundation. The monies must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will
be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational
institution of their choice.

To expand our longtime mission to advance the careers of young classical instrumentalists and singers, Matinée Musicale holds an annual competition for juniors and seniors in high school and college.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW MUST ALL BE EMAILED TO: matineemusicalescholarships@gmail.com,
- Scans of a completed Application AND signed Waiver, Release and Acknowledgement Form.
- A YouTube.com link to a short video (no more than 5 minutes in length) of applicant playing or singing classical music.
- Letter written by applicant explaining their future plans.
- Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s primary music instructor.
AUDITION INFORMATION:

Memorized audition music must be 8-10 minutes in length, in at least 2 contrasting classical styles.
Provide your own accompanist, if needed, and bring 3 copies of the music, one of which must be the original published sheet music (not a photocopy), for the judges.

The Visionary Scholarship is a bi-annual award. There are five (5) awards given with each bi-annual deadline - with a total of ten (10) college scholarships awarded for each school year. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500 each.

SWOEA- Southwestern Ohio Education Association Scholarship

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in Education in the fall of 2023 and will be based on academic qualifications and/or financial need. Applications are available in the Guidance office!
